Question 1

What do I need to get started?

Accepted Answer

Just your App Store, Google Play, or website URL. We scrape the listing, extract app intelligence using AI, and generate your full marketing kit - no form to fill in.

Question 2

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Around 45–90 seconds. The AI researches competitors from multiple sources, then generates 9 sections of your marketing kit in parallel.

Question 3

What URLs does it support?

Accepted Answer

App Store, Google Play, and regular website URLs. For web apps we use Jina Reader to handle JS-rendered pages. You can also paste any URL that describes your app.

Question 4

Can I edit the intelligence before generating?

Accepted Answer

Yes - that's Step 2. After scraping, you see your app's extracted intelligence and can edit the problem statement, target user, differentiator, and alternatives. What you confirm shapes the entire kit.

Question 5

What's in the kit exactly?

Accepted Answer

9 sections: App Intelligence, Competitor Analysis, Positioning (3 angles), Personas, Channel Strategy, Content Templates (Product Hunt, Twitter thread, HN, Reddit, email), SEO/ASO Keywords, Launch Checklist, and Validated Playbooks from real growth case studies.

Question 6

Is there a free plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes - Free gives you 1 kit, lifetime, no credit card. For a full launch, upgrade to Launch ($29 one-time, 3 kits) or Studio ($49/month, 10 kits with kit refresh and priority generation).

Question 7

Is LaunchKit only for mobile apps?

Accepted Answer

No - it supports websites and web apps too. The SEO section expands for web, and the ASO section only appears for mobile apps. Channel strategy adapts based on your platform.
